This week, we’ve added 3 modern apartment buildings, all of which opened within the past 2 years. With apartment development booming in Dallas, it’s interesting to see the new design trends & amenities that come along with this new construction.
I. M. Pei Designed High Rise in Downtown Dallas
If you’re not familiar with I.M. Pei, check out his wikipedia page, here. He has designed some of the most iconic buildings in the world. Dallas is fortunate to be home to several buildings he designed. This high rise was originally built and opened in the 80’s as a commercial office tower. The lowest 7 floors are still active office-space, but everything above the 7th floor has been re-invented as modern living space in the heart of Downtown. With modern finishes, DART rail access and incredible resident amenities, this building has quickly become one of the most popular high-rises in Downtown Dallas.
Turtle Creek Mid-Rise
This mid-rise apartment building opened in 2013. Situated near the intersection of Cedar Springs & Turtle Creek Blvd, you will find yourself right in the middle of Turtle Creek’s beautiful surroundings. Some notable features include tall concrete ceilings, a two-level expansive fitness center and a fire-pit deck with incredible city views.
