Victory Park Neighborhood Guide
Victory Park is a mixed-use, master-planned development that features upscale living and great entertainment options. Located just north of Downtown Dallas with Interstate 35 as its western border, Victory Park is continually growing around its centerpiece, the American Airlines Center. This major sporting arena and concert venue is home to both the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars, and with concerts and special events held here throughout the year, there’s always something to keep you entertained in this hip urban development.
Living in Victory Park
Victory Park has lots of options for housing, most in the form of high-rise and mid-rise apartments with loads of modern amenities. With light rail available at Victory Station and easy highway access to surrounding communities, living in one of the Victory Park apartments means you’re well-connected to work and play in other parts of Dallas.
Not that residents here need to go far to find something to do. In addition to a full slate of sporting events and concerts at the American Airlines Center, Victory Park is home to numerous restaurants and bars to suit every taste. Cook Hall is a gastropub with regional American dishes, while Kenichi serves up Asian fusion and Medina Oven and Bar satisfies your craving for Mediterranean classics. The Havana Social Club is open late for rum cocktails, and you can enjoy a cigar with other aficionados.
It’s not just about the food though. Victory Park high-rises are within walking distance of retail shops and several great attractions. The House of Blues hosts talented musicians throughout the year, and it’s the perfect venue for those who prefer a more intimate setting than the giant arena down the street. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is a major center for learning, with popular, hands-on exhibits for both kids and adults to enjoy. For outdoor fun and exercise, the Katy Trail offers over 3 miles of paved trail for runners and cyclists.
Victory Park lies just north of Downtown Dallas, so it’s convenient to commute to work in the city center by car or rail. The Uptown neighborhood is home to upscale urban apartments and retailers, and this pedestrian-friendly area is connected to Victory Park by the Katy Trail, so it’s easy to work in one neighborhood and play in the other.
